This page is provided to assist you in catching up with me somewhere
along the way! I am on the road quite a lot from early Spring through Autumn,
exhibiting my work at many Irish Festivals, Celtic Gatherings, and also occasionally at
Fine Arts Shows, whenever I can work one into the Celtic schedule!! These festivals,
shows, and dates may change a bit from time to time, so please check back periodically.

Dear Friends and Patrons!
These days you can find me in Building #4 of our wonderful HUGE
Farm and Craft Market,
The Windmill. I should tell you all that
The Windmill is a marvelous enterprise that was modeled after the
"Green Dragon" in Lancaster County, Pennsylvania. Here you can
find everything that your heart may desire - Fresh Organic Produce,
Flowers, Gifts, Artwork, Books, Clothing, etc., etc.!!! Come and
Visit Us here in Yates County, NY. And I might add
that we here are are SO very fortunate to have such a large community of
relocated Mennonites families!!
Thus, this wonderful attraction is a draw for many locals/visitors and
it is only 7 miles from my home in Penn Yan, NY, located smack-dab in
the center of our beautiful 'Finger Lakes Region' of upstate New York.
My explanation: following heat exhaustion/stroke
[and certainly never having had the genes to cope with excessive
temperatures to begin with] I have very reluctantly given
up most of my Irish/Celtic Festivals, and I will be working much closer
to home.
Make no mistake, dear friends: I am greatly missing,
and I will continue to miss, my circle of friends - Vendors and Patrons
alike - that I have made along the way during the past twenty+ years!!!
"Tramps and Hawkers" ALL, and God Bless Us! I was SO privileged to
be a part of a really closely knit community during all of these years
past, and I'm really missing seeing all of you guys!!!
The reason: quite frankly, folks, these old
bones are getting tired!! Loading the van, unloading the van,
setting up the tent, taking the tent down, loading the van again,
driving umpteen hundred miles to get home only to unload the van in
order to restock and to repeat the whole performance all over again a
week or two later is damned hard work!!
Anyway, the bottom line is this: I was accepted by the Board of
Directors at The Windmill as a Vendor and thankfully, this
has been working out quite well for me. So on Saturdays, folks,
this is where I'll be through the "hot months", and with gasoline now at
$4.00+ it's a real bargain, and we all know that the entry fees
for these events are just too darned expensive for most of us!!
Note: I will continue to
consider attending several Art Shows/Festivals during the early
Spring and late Autumn months [And it would certainly help if God might
send me a young, strong, Celtic-oriented Assistant!!]....so keep an eye
out here, just in case...
Hey, you never know...!!!
