Beverly Faulkner travels frequently to ire
to glean material for her original paintings of the misty land that has always flavored
her life. Inspired by love of the people, an appreciation of the land, and with a
real sensitivity to Ireland's past, this artist effectively captures the haunting
nostalgia, soft light, rugged beauty, and the moods that are the essence of Ireland as she
sees it.

The artist, Beverly Faulkner, with her 30" by 40" original oil
entitled "Saint Patrick's Well", now in the collection of
Miss Sarah Murphy of Baltimore, MD.
Tucked away in a secluded green wooded corner of the Finger Lakes region
of New York State is a small studio attached to a modest house, set well back from a
narrow hill road on the edge of a small town. The house and studio are surrounded by
trees, collected shrub species, and gardens filled with interesting perennials and many
fragrant herbs. The voluntaries of songbirds punctuate the quiet wooded sanctuary of
B. Faulkner, artist, and award winning painter of Ireland, whose works now hang in private
collections from Maine to California and also abroad in Ireland, England, and Belgium.
Her small studio-gallery, open by appointment only, please, is located
approximately one hour's drive from Elmira, Syracuse, or Rochester, NY. Commissions
of Ireland are accepted. Please call (315) 536-4296 for directions to the studio and
to plan a visit if you are in the area!
